I am Chanda Dobriyal a freelance web designer, logo designer and artist housed in Chennai a beautiful old city historically dated back around 1522 and now a bustling metropolis. I was blessed on this earth some 30 years back (Obviously girls do not reveal their correct age) in Gujarat though the roots hail from the mighty Himalayas in Garhwal hills. I have travelled to almost every nook and corner of India from west to the beautiful seven sister states of east, north to the culture rich traditional southern states.

Contemporary abstract art work is becoming popular as a way of owning affordable modern art. As a self-representing abstract artist, most of my abstract art work is with oil on canvas, represening my inclination to spritualism, a social responsibility and inclination to environment with a touch of feminism as a part of me. Being an indian women and having been to almost every part of the country I get facinated with so many attires and the mode with which Indian women express their faces and attire, these faces have formed a major part of potraits that I have created on canvas.

As a self taught abstract artist now acquiring a formal education from few of the best known artists in Chennai, began the wonderful journey of creating landscapes, still life, potraits and abstract oil paintings. During past 5 years or so learning how to let the color flow with my dreams on paper or canvas, I am inspired sometimes by abstraction and at times realism in the nature, in clouds, in vegetation, in women, in myself...every where I see abstract celebration. I am also a day dreamer, probably every one on this earth is to some extent, and let the dreams flow and find a place on canvas.
